Awesome!! You eloquently explain exactly what I watch my daughter experience from some of her teen 'friends'. You phrase it perfectly when you liken the jealousy to a 'mask' . Thank you! Write on!
Heya Counting,
I thoroughly enjoyed the question of a relationship itself, and exactly what honesty means. I like that you created the picture of a spider(scary to me no doubt) comparable to relationships, and then tied their webs to the lies and emotion.

Alex...interesting play on words...I like the the way you portray the anticipation and excitement of what you have just discovered...'the only woman for you'....As I read it it built this picture in my mind of a nervous, anxious and slightly mentally clumsy man about to burst at the seams with joy...who could only be compared to a frantic child opening a gift that he/she will remember for a lifetime....

Champlain...
Thank you for your honest and straightforward thoughts about the real details of loss... You give a realistic face to some of the harsh details of losing your companion. Comparing the elements of the grass losing color and the cold with the tedious workings of packing his articles away gives us a vivid picture of deep sad emotions

Wonderfully intriguing...it draws the reader in...I hope there is more? More to come about Tom...I want to read more about why...Why is it always bye?...What is so unusual about the content of that book that drives them away?...
Geri :)
Your poem paints a vivid picture of emotion which I truly enjoy. The honesty of the pain of feeling so stuck inside yourself reminds me of my childhood. Thank you
