Great concept! This is the type of thing that I love to read. The modern day vampire thing is in style right now due to the "true Blood" series on HBO and the Sookie Stackhouse novels (among many others). You never gave your protagonist a name though. If you are going to continue this as a series of stories, he needs a name. I do want to read more!
