That was awesome. I was engrossed the entire time. I thought maybe that she had a mulitple personality disorder at first. It was like she was in another time and place. I actually have never really heard of this disorder that she has. This story seems like it could have been a true one inside a medical journal about mental disorders. You did a fantastic job. I have never given gift points before but this takes the cake!! Congratulations
Oh my! I love it. It pulls you in and keeps you reading and reading. I could read more of this story. It's almost like it hasn't ended. Anna is tormented by these things that feed off of dead flesh and she is the only one who hears the voices. I want to know more about these hobgoblins that she talks about in her diary. This is what I like about books and short stories. You draw the reader in with severe emotions that make you feel as if you are that character in the story. The way you describe her feelings and interactions is exceptional. I felt what Anna felt. I wanted to cry at her pain of loss. The madness that she felt was unbearable. In your descriptions of the things that she saw and of her surroundings I could close my eyes and see it. I mean really visualize the whole passage. From the start of the library to the end of her dissappearance I could see every detail as if it were in a picture. True story tellers make you live the story as if it were real. They make you feel like YOU are the character and these things that happen are happening to YOU. I truly love this one. I would love to read more of your stories. If they are all this detailed and woven like a tapestry, I would pay for them! Very good work.
