A Witch-Killer Review by the Grand General Rose of Iron
Thanks to my cunning and experience, I have been ordered to assemble an army to kill the Green Witch.
I have been trained since youth to be a witch slayer. Now, to get an army, I have to bestow on selected writers my infinite wisdom. You have been awarded a witch-killer review because you review a lot. Thanks!
As a general, I am strict, but I am also fair. Please remember, I just want to help, and I will help you most if I am honest.
Overview
I have been interested in articles teaching how to review. I am pleased you decided to write about that. I am also running a contest, and I noticed many do not have a clue how to write a good review.
Congrats Writer! You got it right.
I like most the beginning. You showed good questions that will help a newbie find his/her first comments. I remember how hard it was just few weeks ago to find anything to say. The point of 5 star ratings is also important. I am guilty of given less than 5 stars without stating the motive.
The WDC Academy waits for you.
The WDC Academy Library needs articles like that, but this article still need to be improved.
I would check out some of your statements. I might have understood some wrongly:
You said we get no credit for private reviews. As far as I know, they will not show on the Public Reviews Page, and that's it. Granted, nobody will be able to give you extra GPs. However, you will get GPs for reviewing someone you haven't before, it will count for the community recognition, it will count for you getting into the Most Active Reviewers Page, you will receive autoreward if there is any, and it will be added to the daily bonus of Qualified Reviews if it has at least 250 characters. I don't have to say I felt confused by your statement -- it seems a lot of credit for me. I agree with you: most reviews should be public.
You can actually see the top 250 Reviewers and the top 50 Reviewing groups.
I found some typos like this: "Reviews". "Reviews."
A few pearls of my wisdom
Please, keep writing articles like that. I might have found some problems, but I am sure this will be a great article.
Disclaimer: The Grand General Rose of Iron is a character who will be reviewing in the place of a fellow writer known as Leila until November the 5th. This is a Halloween themed review.
