I really love the way you described the surroundings, it really allows you to picture the way the characters are seeing things. You can feel their personalities through their actions and the way that they have matured from adolescent anxieties to adult collected calm. Beautiful work conveying such a story that spans over so many years in a fairly short read where you still feel completely satisfied with the ending but still wondering what their lives will look like. It gives you a bit to think about and turn over in your head.
