Favorite Item Types
Too many to name. I like original content that is "stranger than fiction" from the author's character's experiences. I love when stories pour from the imagination of the writer - and I feel it. Or learn something good.
Least Favorite Item Types
Poetry, because I am really a dive-bar, bathroom poet, and it is too structured.
I will not review...
I do not mean this ugly, please take this from a place of kindness and love - I read a lot. I have been reading a long time. I speed read. If asked to review an item that seems familiar to things read, I will check for plagiarism, and do. I will not review hard porn, poems (unless more prose than poem), nor plagiarized items. I will not call you out. If I turn your review down, it is not about you. It is me and life. Peace.

Thank you for the very clear and easy to follow instructions.

It is very nice that you included other ways of marketing ourselves as writers. I recently ordered from Vista Print, the cards were free, I just had to pay postage. It is so important to network, and you have shown that it this nice informational for WDC.

Review of Meeting the past
Rated: E | (4.5)
I enjoy the chance meeting. I had to re-read several times the line, "...a mother, daughter and son".

This was a meeting that is close enough to what can and does occur every day possibly. Especially, if a meeting happens with anyone we ever had a crush on, or thought highly of a person will be filled with all of our thoughts, or the story we wrote about this relationship in our mind.

Congratulations, good start. Write on!

I really like this short scary story. May I emphasize SCARY? The only bad thing about this short, is I want more. I feel like I was given a peek at a portion of a good Koontz book or something, and now I want to read it. Teaser.

Good work, always keep your readers wanting more.

This is a lot of fun. It was not too hard, and was not as easy as I assumed this would be. I like doing quick puzzles like this. It is good brain exercise.

Review of A Weeping Earth
Rated: E | (4.0)
I feel this piece. "...paving roads...weathering stone...creation and destruction..." this continuance of earth's recycling herself. She must weep now. Hopefully, you will continue to write and let your words touch others. Perhaps with your beautiful words being felt, you will cause empathy toward earth. I hope.

write on.

Review of First Light
Rated: E | (4.5)
Beautiful. Your words create an imagery both in my mind and within my senses. "I am warmed by the light while cold ground bites my toes." Your descriptions of nature show an ambivalent feeling about nature. Yes, it is beautiful, but let us not forget it is wild.

A writer within a story, excellent. Cannot wait to read more.

Review of Camping Trip
Rated: E | (5.0)
This is a good story. Your characters are lively and it left me wanting more. I am going to think about this for a long time. I am curious, and this piece makes me want to sit and interview you and John.

Camping Trip is considered high content, you are a good writer. Give us more, please.

Review of Letter Box Face

Letter Box Face
A perfect snapshot of LBF. Whoa, your words created a photograph of a moment in a mans existence when this character was unguarded, and he thought no one was looking.

Excellent word smithing. Write on.

Review of Freedom Call
Rated: E | (5.0)
I feel these words. There are Native performers who I can imagine shouting these words. I love your message. This gets a highest rating because you are going to change the world with your good words. Perhaps no one has listened before, but now there is an audience of anticipating readers, waiting to read your work.

ALL CAPS is shouting. There is a time to shout, and dance and drum and march. And then, it becomes the time for leaders to rise up, pen in hand, or today keyboard under fingers. Time to influence and inspire.

The words you use are good. You communicate well, let the words and you speak. Write on. :0)

Review of Comment-In-A-Box
Rated: E | (4.0)
As a newbie, it is helpful to read these guidelines. For the very new writer, who has a spark of somethings special, this rating may be a bit harsh.

It is understood that many e-writers are overwhelmed with writing their own content, marketing themselves and others on the web is time consuming. When there are hundreds of items to be read, it is a bit of a pain to read bad writing, but I think when there is a good start, rate low, but give encouragement.

Thank you for sharing these guidelines for rating.
