Review of The Bob

This kept getting better and better. I thought it'd be your usual futuristic story but it's not??? The humour is timeless, I love this. "One helluva lot of duct tape." made the last blow.

That happened to me, too. Once. Anyway, that was a very, very short story. I thought there was a deeper meaning to it but it looks like there's none (unless I'm wrong).

Review of kids

I share your frustration with kids (though I still am a kid compared to most users on this site) because, at church, I'm always the one taking care of them and I could already tell my future if I had a kid like my little brother who is turning 6. I honestly don't know why your description of 6-year-olds is so accurate! They don't listen, and when you say, "No, don't do that!" they look you dead in the eye and do exactly that.

But, I still would probably have kids in the future, though I think I would viewed as a bad mom. I would love to keep my freedom and thatI will do if and when I get kids. BUT, I will include them in my freedom. I'd go outside and take them with me (whether they like it or not). Again, though, that's just a case of "if."

"In life, happiness is the game; not the final score" shot me with a cannon. I agree. Happiness is the journey because you might get disappointed if you get too fixated on thinking the destination is your happiness. Even though they say there is no wrong answer to "What is your happiness?" I argue otherwise. What if they're "happiness" is drugs? Or alcohol? Those are temporary numbness. You're not happy during the time you are intoxicated. You just can't feel sadness. Over time, the effects will cease. But, in the last days of a person, and all they did was spend their money on shallow things but in the end, they say, "I'm satisfied"? Their happiness is justified.

Happiness isn't having no regrets.

What?!?! Short but amazing?? I've been trying to include your point exactly in my books. I'm always trying to portray that lesson through my stories but I never get the "just-right" story. THIS! THIS! IS WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO SAY!
People have to do what they have to do.
