Absolutely amazing! I try to give a teal ribbon once a week, but I think I'm going to have to change it to once a month. Anyway, I enjoyed the WHOLE thing, but the ending is what did it for me. I've selected this to be the newbie teal ribbon award winner this month. I'm also listing it as being a fan of it. I look forward to reading more of your writing. Keep it up! If you have the time, read some of my work and tell me what you think.
I REALLY enjoyed this poem! I stepped out of my typical genre of what I like to red or write about. I think that's what this site is all about though. Not, that I'm not a religious man. I just normally stick to romance/love. Keep writing. You're very talented. If you have a chance, read some of my writing and tell me what you think.
Wow! ANOTHER unique idea for a poem! I'm saving this as one of my favorites and one day I'm going to challenge myself by trying to create a poem in Pi form. So far, everything I've read of yours has one common denominator: uniqueness. So, I'd like to also send you a merit badge for that if they have one for uniqueness. I'm going to search now. You're obviously a writer that's much more knowledgeable of the craft. I'm much more of an amateur so I'm really glad to have been paired with you. I look forward to your reviews of my work. I added the extra GPs because I feel you deserve them for taking the time to read through my collection. Thank you in advance. This site, and people like you on the site, have really changed my life in a way. The day I received my first ribbon for something I wrote, I enrolled in online writing classes and decided that I MIGHT actually have what it takes to one day become a novelist.
Wow! I love this poem! To be honest I was expecting it to be cliche in the beginning and the twist made it an AWESOME read. I look forward to reading more of your writing. Thank you for your reviews. They've been insightful and I can tell you take your time in reviewing them. Thank you.
I bet you made everything your father did for you all worth it to him with these words. Our parents are the ones who taught us, in one way or another to be able to express ourselves poetically, don't you think? I wrote one to my mother for Mothers' Day when I was younger that I put on here called "Nurtured Seed". If you get a chance, read it and tell me what you think. Now you've inspired me to write one to my father as well. Again, Thank you for reading my work. I will make it a point to take the time to read everything you've written over time. Try to read some more of mine soon. You might like them. Keep in mind, I'm new to this and, therefore, realize I need a LOT of work on my form and probably grammar as well, so if you see things that I'm messing up on feel free to let me know.
