Well, I have to say that there are many who can relate to your poem! Time has a way of moving forward, regardless as to how we feel about it! LOL!
Your poem showed good humor and great insight! I always felt that poetry was mankinds way of openly revealing the heart and soul of a person. And for a moment, it allows the reader to enter into the writers world. If written well, (like yours!), there is a 'connection' between both writer and reader.
It has always been my goal to write poetry, so that I could bring my emotions and thoughts into focus. I can clearly see that you have achieved this with this poem!
