Great concept. very thought provoking. Could add (our purpose in life, our destiny) instead of (The harm they cause is accidental, unforeseeable. How about (The collateral damage is deemed just and unpreventable) although what you have is good.
If they were to fight to the death (with anything) what concept could bring them back to life in good order? No good coming back to life if your head or arms are chewed off. Maybe a respawn concept, who knows?

I would love to read anymore from this idea.
