For someone who hates writing fiction, you didn't do too bad a job of it. I kind of liked it. The ending was a riot, poor guy. I kinda felt sorry for him even though he should have known better than to meet some crazy chic at a coffee shop. Loved the way you put this one together though. Good job
I've waiting eagerly for this month so I can join in the 30 day challenge. Not just to try and win a prize, but to make myself work toward my goal of getting my writing needs back into high gear. I'm having so much fun here at WDC and am a true addict. And being that I've been a pro blogger up until a year ago, blogging is in my virtual blood.
I love the idea of this blogging challenge and I do hope to be a part of it this month. Though the prizes are cool, this is more for myself than those, however I'd still love to win something just to say I did. LOL
Thank you for hosting such a cool challenge and thank you to those taking the time to judge this challenge.
Very cool. I love trivia! I'd heard the one about Casablanca, but I did not know the one about the electricity. I loved this piece and would love to see more pieces like this. Adding bits of truth can always add to a work of fiction. Thanks for posting and keep it coming. This is awesome!
Wow! I have to admit that I'm not one to review free-verse poetry, but I really enjoyed this. It was easy to follow, flowed well, and spoke volumes.
I felt the emotions beneath the words and could relate to them. Though I prefer traditional verse, I really enjoyed your piece. Would love to read more.
