Beautiful. A wonderful read that reflects well on what the future really does hold. Some people are too scared to see beyond the past and I for one prefer to be aware of the present moment myself, but looking towards those days that are yet to come with optimism, to see the sun rise once more on a brand new day, full of possibilities...the thought alone is certainly a breath of fresh air.
An interesting story that manages to establish quite a bit of a character all within a short amount of time. It still leaves one or two things up to interpretation, but still fleshes out the character of Joey quite well. There's a metaphor here, usually is, and even if I don't see it now it'll probably be one of those little things I'll wind up understanding when I go to get a snack at night and I'm standing by the fridge XD
A short and simple story that possess charm and some clear wit. The humor shines clearly and while the story almost felt far too fleeting, a setting and mood is still rather decently established. The story leaves room for more, as if only an excerpt from a larger, broader series, which is give or take depending on your view. I still enjoyed it and found myself chuckling in amusement as I read.
