Content I feel is an awesome subject to take on..enlightening I wish we all could have your vision. Your understanding of human nature and its peaks and perks at this age is pretty stimulating.. Pretty deep emotionally strung but your insight to how we respond and how you don't want to be is a validation for those of us that are struggling. I wish you well and hope you continue to write would like to read your work. As far as friends that come and go as you mentioned so true but there will always be a few that stay in your life forever. The fact that you mention 'others shoes' 'anothers life' also captivating ... good luck all the best to your future endeavors.. If I could say also enjoy yourself you are right time and people are prescious but if someone had told me to slow down
and not take in to much seriousness (myself) I would have appreciated that during that time. enjoy ...take care
This person pours there heart out and I cry for them deep moving and very personal to me...sad but honest i liked this poem so much i am a person who enjoys poetry that has format a beginning and an end and not just to fill in words. Sometimes wordplay eliminates the essence of why the poem was written; and you did not do that. Thank you..
Even though its been many years since the loss of my own mother I think that bond never fades. It does not matter how others saw her or what prescence she had in the world; she was my mom. I really enjoyed this writing open honest at times and probably really hard to write. It was not complicated or over the top it just relayed the real pain you feel at your loss. But it touched me cause I too had a mom and she died...That is a hard reality to bear.. For so long I felt like an orphan so I get this writing thank you for sharing with us.
