This is really great. Well done.

The air of anticipation you build up with the protagonist's journey to the Nest was fantastic, and the unexpected horrors that followed were fantastic. The only thing I have a problem with (and this is nitpicking) is the lack of quotations when characters are talking. It was semi difficult to completely follow what was dialogue and what was story.

Again, not horribly difficult, but just a bit off-putting. Other than that this story is fantastic and I wouldn't change a thing.
