I am "Beholden" to you for this awesome poem. Your metaphor of a snowy landscape awaiting fresh footprints just blew me away.New snowfall of the author's intent is so good.As a free lance artist I see this working for that application too.It also reminds me of many times when I have painted over one piece of work with a pure white layer to reuse the canvas. We do that each day with a new start.

Dawn brings beginnings
Sunset clears the page
losing or winnings
it changes as we age.

This is cool and I love the last line. I'll bet that librarian sends away a lot more people.
