Sad. But nonetheless, the Captain did as he should have. He went down with his ship. He should be remembered well for his actions. It may be sad, but none of those who recall, or hear about the act can ever say anything negative. That makes even me want to pop the buttons off of my t-shirt. Just to know about how a man can know of his own fate, and still do what must be done to die with honor.
This seems to be deeply personal. Anytime a person exposes themselves in this way, they are very volnurable. It is good to sometimes express yourself in this way as you need a release of some kind if you don't have any other way. Nicely done. It brings back thoughts of my very first child. What amazement! To think that I had that kind of power. To help in the creation of another human being. My first real creation.
