Warlock,
Thoroughly enjoyable. I love poe and enjoy all the references to some of his works in the story.
A couple of mistakes though.
11th paragraph: ...gelatinous, mass begins... I would change begins to began.
And 's on Edgar's not Edgars.
Just some hints that i thought might help.
Good read.
