Roses

Roses are red
violets are blue
sugar is sweet,
are you?

When I first met you you seemed cool
very cool in fact,and funny
we would sit in class joking around and getting into trouble all the time.
One girl+One Guy=Trouble/Friendship
Until one day you just stopped.

This went on for two months
we don't even talk anymore
What Happened?
what happened to the best friends that would always talk to each other?
We promised to never let anyone get in the way of their unique friendship
I don't know if thats the case but,
please give me a sign.

I remember when I first met you
we were in art class together and you sat right next to me
On the first day of class I couldn't help staring at you.
You couldn't help staring at me either.
At the end of class the teacher called some students up to the front of the classroom to present your artwork.
You had two drawings
One of a rose,and another of Me
standing in front of the sun holding a rose.

Everyone clapped at your masterpeice and I sat in total shock
You walk back and sit down and say
"Hi, my name is Micheal, what's yours?"
and ever since then we have been best friends.
Until last month.

I asked your friends if they knew what was wrong with you and they acted as if they didn't know what I was talking about.
I can't wait forever for an answer Micheal
But I'll wait a little while longer.

June 12 is my birthday
and at my surprise party
everyone was there execpt for you
Damn,
what a birthday.

Later that night,
there was a knock on my window.
Who else would it be other than.................
Micheal.

No words were spoken as he helped me down the side of the house and walked me towards the park were most of our thoughts and ideas were exchanged
As we sat in the tree
I want to ask you what was wrong and why you were avioding me. But before I could say anything you cut me off to give me something.
I smiled and and opened the box and came face to face with a bracelet that says on the inside,
'I love you forever and always,Micheal'
It also had a picture of two roses with the stems intwined with each other.

I smiled and hugged you ready to tell you that I love you too
but, was cut off again by a kiss
much passion was shown
Which makes me think that you been saving this for some time now
I know you could tell that it was my first kiss and yours too
but that didn't matter.
It was the best!!!

After our special moment
I wanted to tell you that I love you to
but you cut me off again by saying
"I know you love me too.So lets just sit here for a while and get swepted away by the night"Micheal says
That's just what we did
I listened to his heartbeat against my face and I start to play with my bracelet and his fingers.
Thinking of how this simple bracelet will make a special bond between us for eternity.
