Sweet ambrosia, what life is all about

Life is the sweetest breath,
         of a warm summers day
the sweetest joy,
         of a child’s hand
bright laughter
         that echoes against
         an endless blue sky.

Life show us, everyday,
         the sweetest gift
         she can bestow
the warmth of the sun,
         shining upon our face
the first glint of green
         every new spring,
breathless joy of friends and family,
         life and laughter
overshadowing all doubts,
the sweetest gift
