You seem so different lately
So withdrawn and far away
Pretending to be someone you're not
Or trying to be Anyway
I dont think you're the same person I knoew
Soz loving caring and kind
Maybe I didnt know you at all
and all of this is in my mind
Your eyes dont speak the way they used to
Your language is unknowable
I miss the spark so full of life
Now so dire and dull
I dont think I will have the chance
to rediscover you
For fear of rejection, change or worse
Someone I never knew.
