Tears of Pain

The tears that fall from my eyes
Are not tears of happiness
They are tears of pain
The pain runs deep inside of me
Friends stab me in my back, thinking they won’t get hurt by me
Keep me close and watch my every move
Because my next move will be crucial
I’m going to share my pain with a backstabber
Friends go behind my back trying to help me out
It only makes it worse
Just the fact that you went behind my back hurts
It doesn’t help if you say something that isn’t true
Don’t be surprised if I close up to you now
I can’t trust you with some of the things I say
People say I’m someone to them
But deep inside of them, I’m a no one to them
They just can’t see it
Don’t say you care because I know you don’t
Stop wasting your time on me
Its only making things worse for both of us.
