Written yesterday about a man I'm falling for.

I never thought you'd ever hold my fingers in your hand,

Lightly squeezing.

I never thought I'd hear your heart beat race against my ear.

Fingers lightly pulling on my hair.

Do you know what it means

When you hold me in your green eyes?

And gently kiss the top of my head.

I can still feel the pressure of your lips against my hair.

Do you know how much it breaks my heart

That the right words fail me whenever you come close

Or know the many hours I lie awake

Hoping for something I know I don't deserve to have?

I lied you know, it isn't just the way you look

Or the sound of your voice

That weakens my body,

It's more than that.

It isn't like you said,
