Resting In God

A poem about letting God take care of everything in my life

I am resting in God, He will take care of me today
When Satan tries to tempt me, God will drive him away

All the areas of my life, God is in complete control
Whatever happens today, God will take care of my soul

There is no problem in my life, that God cannot handle
God protects me, to His love no one can hold a candle

In my darkest hour, in God I rest
He is with me when Satan puts me to the test

I'm resting in God, I feel no alarm
I'm safe, God has me wrapped in His arms

When Satan begins to tempt me, God holds me a little tighter
He makes my burdens in life, seem so much lighter

So in God, I will rest, He will always show me what is right
Everyday of my life, for my soul He will fight
