In My Mind

"In My Mind" is about a girl who is having family and friend problems.

In my mind, there's only darkness.
That's the way I feel.
Stormy sky, dead grass, dead trees,
Is any of this real?
I think my friends are deserting me.
My parents are overprotective.
My brother pushes me around.
Is there any way I can live?
My mother kisses me goodnight,
And then she leaves my room.
Everything's dark and eerie.
There's nothing but gloom.
I lie there and wonder.
How everything is gonna' get better.
All I can think about,
Is the hiding place that I created,
In my mind.
