Like a prayer sent to Earth it came,
Through the clouded sky and intense rain,
'Beacon of light!' I cried aloud,
And slowly it hovered without a sound,
Onto the damp and musty soil,
Where the snakes and foxes coiled,
And there it sat on the sodden earth,
And like magic, a spell of rebirth,
The rotten trees all died and dying,
Blossumed from their peaceful slumbering,
The forest trees rose so high,
They almost clouded out the sky,
'Is thy done?' I asked the figure,
But yet the growing still lingered,
And soon all the sky and sea,
Was covered with it's harmony.
