Shadows
Step not from the shadows, but towards them,
Choosing against following the light, of travelers before.
Cast aside fear of the unseen, respecting that unknown,
Grasp the surrounding darkness, harness its negativity.
Once enclosed in blackness, walk blindly with belief,
Judging from the heart, however inexperienced.
Be strong in mind, despite all weaknesses,
And reflect courage and desire, deep from within.
Knowing that your own light will grow, because of this,
Shine bright to all watching eyes, and create a path.
A path not of light, but of shadows,
As chance, hope and greatness is continued.
