Tough

Tough to "put pen to paper" (as they say) -
Though it's really "fingers to keyboard" these days.
A timid look at the tyrant's square face
Brightly shining on my steady place...
In front of him I sit reading another's tasty, timely post
He stares on blankly, mocking me (which bothers me the most).
So I sit here dumbfounded and listen to the computer run
As my thoughtless muse is out frollicking in the sun.
