The Wedding Party

After the nervy frets of the day
Even with the niceties along the way
The nuptials were over
Time for dance, fun and food
Which put the party in a festive mood.
Perhaps too festive and feeling too fine...
Perhaps they should have nixed the wine.
Grandpa was leaning on the buffet table
Which was keeping him upright as he wasn't able.
It seemed like a safe and secure little niche
Til that unfortunate nosedive into the quiche.
