Beauty for ashes

Lord you have searched my heart
you know me better than anybody else
When my whole world was falling apart
You showed me
How to put it all together again

Where can I hide from your love
From your Spirit there is no escape
He descends on me from above
and my mourning
is replaced with the oil of Joy

Lord you have given to me
such beauty for ashes
and I can't believe
all the miracles that I have seen
Your strength and your power
are too wonderful for me

Your grace is so amazing
that I can't find the words at all
So I stand in awe before you
and I let your Holy Spirit fall
