I'm a slow learner so I let myself hope again. Of course I got hurt again.

My hopes lie tattered in the dust, my dreams shredded to thousand pieces.
All my knowledge, all the wisdom I had gathered, gone in a blink of an eye.
Just so I could hurt myself again.
All it took to doom me was just a whisper of happiness.
