Uncovered pirate's treasure
That's how I think of you
A cache of layered gems
To be explored
Each dazzling discovery
Brighter than the last

Words dance in magic tarantellas
From your fingertips
Lighting sparks
That frolic through my mind
Like lightning bugs
Signalling their zest for life

Your voice resonates
A chord in my memory
A meadowlark's song
Of undulating notes
That soothe the air
With sweet complexity

Immeasurable delight
That's what you bring to me
A secret smile
Betrays my thoughts of you
I feel your whispered presence
Like a breath upon my heart
