This is a poem about firework night.
A kaleidoscope of colour
Is exploding in the sky,
Rockets, whether big or small,
They seem to fly so high!

The crisp November air,
Red noses and cold hands,
Huddling close together,
As we listen to the band.

Children gaze in wonder
At the beauty on display,
A myriad of changing hues,
Like stars come out to play.

All manner of aromas
Are drifting through the air.
Toffee apples, hot dogs, too.
Eat them if you dare!
