Poetic riddles. The first line is what the rest of the stanza is describing. Think hard. |
Life In my mind there is a door Behind the door there is a chair In my mind there is no floor Behind the door the walls are bare A boyfriend In my mind there is a bed hefty but declining but there will be no resting there For it has no binding Moving In my mind there is a table Covered in delicious foods But in my mind I am not able To eat because its all too new A hobby that you continue because its hard In my mind there are some stairs If you look up they have no end In some way I do not care For every break there is a bend An escape that has only concequences In my mind there is a couch Its worn and torn and old Though its strong and always vouch Its psedo comfort leaves you cold A big-mouthed friend In my mind there is a dresser It holds many truths and lies But its inners are not without measure As it gives a friendship dies Loosing a grandparent In my mind there is a bookshelf Its wisdom is suprising But when it falls the whole house quells And those things it held are nothing Parental restrictions In my mind there is a frame Its good for you but thats so fake Its borders are restricting names But when you cross them the picture breaks School In my mind there is a room It teaches and you listen But its full of bangs and booms and rebelliousness only quickens First love In my mind there is a sink The bubbles look almost like a game It fills as water runs in to clean But the fun always rushes down the drain Church In my mind there is a desk Its covered in marks from years gone by Its rewards are always the best Yet it continualy leaves me to cry |
