A poem about the possibility of becoming a mythical creature |
If I were a fairy I would dance through the air With a rose petal dress and flowers in my hair If I were a mermaid I would swim in the sea With a beautiful tail of bright emerald green If I were a dragon I would have scales of bright red Claws hard as steel, and piercing eyes in my head If I were a unicorn I would be a glorious sight With a sharp, glittering horn and a mane of pearly white But I am not a fairy, nor a mermaid or a dragon Though I dream of all these things, I can only imagine |
