God helps us remember He loves us |
Lest We Forget Sunlight sparkles through maple leaves As we sit in the yard on a chair. A butterfly kisses a tiger lily And lights upon our hair. A cardinal sings of love to its mate Down the lane in another tree. A crimson splash as he goes to her Is all that we can see. Daisies wave in the field 'cross the road. The colors of sun and pure white. Among them trots a doe and her fawn To our absolute, utter delight. God sends exquisite marvels our way, Giving them on bended knee; Lest we forget that He loves us With the purest love there can be. ![]() |
