" A Tale Of The Night "

Horrified, mystified, happy is the night,
Open ones door, and Boo, out goes the lights.

Witches and goblins, high in their flight,
Looking and leaping, for those in fright.

Images of candy dances in their heads,
Noting while eating, what could we do instead.

Give to one and not to all,
Hell, that's where they're going with one big fall.

After all, we're just kids having a good time,
Living a life, without all that crime.

Love for your neighbor is what we've been told,
Or is it a lie, and Halloween's just too old.

Winter will come quickly as we all know,
Everything we've done, will be covered in snow.

Except for the bad acts, that go unnoticed, blatenly so,
Never take candy on this black evil night from those you don't know.
