Fallen

My attempt at poetry

Angels with the blood red eyes
Why did you listen to his lies
All he spewed forth was deceit
Now you lay here at mans feet

Hindsight shows you played a child's game
Now all you will know is punishment and shame

Tear the wings from your back
Henceforth your flesh shall be seared black
No more shall earth you roam
Soon the pits of Hell will be your home
