Commentary that will somehow assemble itself into a bigger piece of writing.
I write to rid myself of this sick feeling in my stomach. Upon recent discoveries, my opinion of a lover of a lover has only become more sour.

I think that it's human nature anyhow, to hold a decent amount of contempt for the "ex". No matter how unrealistic or overblown it may be in the eyes of others, it's natural.

Now, when you actually get pieces of the puzzle, and the larger picture starts to assemble infront of you... It can be both a relief, and a staggering blow to realize that she is exactly what you thought. She ACTUALLY parallels that convoluted idea you constructed in your mind. Dumb, unduly narcissistic, prone to pathological lies...

Oh, sweet relief. She's nothing like ME.
But he liked her nonetheless.

What drove him to adore this monstrous, grotesque individual... what is he doing with me? You can be driven mad by the endless, nagging questions. Little pinches to that mess of bloody tissue known as your heart- enough to keep you uncomfortable. A constant turning of the stomach translates into a steady anxiety.

Take my advice, my lame suggestions- do not develop a habit. Truth can be as addicting as heroin. Just push the questions straight out of your troubled head, because once you start- it'll never end.

It will consume you.

But still, it is quite a relief...
to know she is nothing like me.
