Forest of the Mind

Which way is the light,
On this dark, dark night.
I hear the wolf’s cry,
And the wind’s soft sigh.
The rain now falls,
Through the trees so tall.
There is no way out,
And no one hears me shout.
But it’s all in my mind,
For no one to ever find.
For it’s the sorrow in me,
I hide for the world never to see.
