Coma

It's a poem.

You lie there
Watching
Helplessly.
Your hazy breath in the air
Is the only indication
You're still alive.
Does it scare you?
It scares me, too.
How can the world be
Such a hellish haven?
How can we survive?
I admire your coma
Not there but still alive.
Which is more than I can say.
