This is a mini story, I used one of my characters Felicity and I added some new ones
Felicity
America has officially accepted that vampires, goblins, and ghouls are real and not only that but that they have rights. My name is Felicity; I'm a human, and a detective, well actually more like I find people for a hefty price. Today I'm looking for a kid named Casey, she's the daughter of an important political family of werewolves, and if she's not found alive a major war will happen, in which I will die. So, seeing as I like to live, I'm taking this case very seriously, unlike my sidekick, Lokey, who can't seem to do anything else but complain.
"Felicity I'm cold, why can't we come back in the morning! Do you want me to die of frost bite? I can't even feel my tail." Lokey grumbled as his green, spiked tail switched from side to side. We were in a back street, and it had started to rain, the stench of the garbage that littered the alleyway, was starting to make me gage.
Lokey, my somewhat sidekick, who happens to be a demon, he was supposed to kill me two years ago but chickened out and he is now in servitude to me for another thousand years or so. He is an interesting creature, because not only is he green and covered in scales he is seven feet tall, has a pointy tail, and two horns sticking out of his head like branches on a tree. He should seem menacing but unfortunately he usually hides behind something, with his tail between his legs anytime real danger is about.
"Come on Lokey it's not that cold, and besides as soon as I see the vampires we can start fighting and then you'll be warm." I said as I stretched my legs out in front of me. We had been stashed behind a garbage can for two hours now and I was getting restless.
Lokey glared at me, "That's supposed to make me feel better?"
I had gotten the tip from one of my sources, with a little bribing and a few disturbing threats, that Casey was being stashed in a warehouse down town by a some renegade vampires.
Vampires and werewolves have been bitter enemies for as long as each were in existence, but recently they had made a truce stating that each would not kill each other, but as usual someone has to mess it up. This group knew that if Casey died it would mean war.
So we have been stashed outside the warehouse for two hours with no sign of Casey. Both of us were tired and cold and I was not going to leave without killing someone, so I decided we needed to do something about it.
I stood up and started to walk toward the warehouse, I pulled out my 9 millimeter, who I call Mr. Shiny. With Mr. Shiny in hand I walked up the rickety fire escape. The building was a solid block of cement with a single window and a single door, which now was starting to open.
"Come on, bring her out we need to take her to the docks so Bruno can 'take care of her'!" came the husky voice of one of the vampires, as I saw them dragging a plain brown sack, with what I think was Casey in it, or what was left of her.
I looked down from the fire escape, I could see there were about eight vampires most were quite big and burly but I didn't mind I'd gone up against bigger and worse. I loaded Mr. Shiny with garlic covered bullets and waited till one of the big guys was in range. One started to open the trunk of a parked car his head came into view and I slowly pulled Mr. Shiny's trigger. The head of the vampire burst immediately, blood, and bits of skull painted the walls of the alley, and Lokey who still was hunched behind a dumpster.
All of the vampires drew guns, and weapons, but none knew where to aim, I was still above them. As they started to search the alleyway I holstered Mr. Shiny and dove off the fire escape, and landed on one of the vampires, smashing his head into the ground with my heavy black combat boot, which was a mistake.
As I looked up all the vampires had their own weapons aimed at me. One of them, I think the one who I had heard earlier, grinned at me. But his smirk was short lived, right then Lokey leaped out from the garbage can and quick as a snake twisted his head 180 degrees with a satisfying snap.
Before Lokey could get his bearings though he was grabbed from behind and pinned against a wall, none of the weapons had left my temple still. We were trapped and I had no back up Mr. Shiny couldn't do any thing for me now. I counted the vampires, five left, more then I had thought. What had I gotten my self into why hadn't I called for back up? I realized I was going to die for not thinking ahead and for running into this situation blindly.
"You want any last words, or do you just want me to kill you now?" asked one of the vampires with a sword to my throat.
"Just two," I replied, "behind you."
Like that a sword sliced straights through his throat severing his head from his body.
Vincent, my vampire boyfriend had shown up. He was tall and broad shouldered, his jet black hair was slicked back, blood splattered over his designer suite. He was the only vampire I could never kill I loved him and I think he loved me.
He grinned at me and we continued to massacre the rest of the vampires. The walls and floors of the alley were soaked with blood, and scattered body parts were strewn across it like the garbage.
"You should have asked me to come; you know you're only human." Vincent scolded me.
"I didn't need your help I could have made it out!" I replied hotly even though I knew that my pride could have been my down fall and that I very well almost died.
He glared at me, we were both still covered in blood and I still had Mr. Shiny in hand, Lokey had been satisfied with his one kill and helping Casey out of the sack. Vincent grabbed me and we kissed, I hadn't died this time and Casey was alive. We had made it out and there wasn't going to be another war I thought, all in all it turned out well.
