When one hates the cold of the winter, the blues takes over.
"Winter Moody Blues'

I get up in the morning,
I'm feeling kinda torn,
Cause the sun's not brightly shining,
It left me feeling quite worn.

The sun gave way to cold hazy clouds,
As the winter is upon us,
I scream inside, outloud.

Oh, how I hate the bitter cold!
My body does ache
And it makes me feel old.

No energy, it's gone, went bye, bye,
It gives me the winter blues,
For seven months, why oh why?

No more twinkle little stars,
No more wondering who you are.
A man or woman, the childs gone from thee,
The frailness I feel, is the adult in me.

I hate wearing all those heavy clothes,
Can't move about freely, and nobody knows,
How much brighter I feel,
When I'm not out freezing,
My fingers, nose and toes.

Until the sun shines on my window pane,
And the icy snowflakes are melted too,
I continue to feel blah,
With the winter moody blues.
