Shine down, oh light of love, we long for You.

Mankind has stood in wait ten thousand years.

A holy prodigy in all You do;

Your sacred love will wash away our tears.

Shine down, oh holy rays and light our way.

Your people have been lost for oh so long.

Some see Your light but hear not what You say.

They read Your verse but cannot sing Your song.

Shine down upon this sacrificial toll,

A ransom paid, a gift for you and me.

Rejoice in this salvation for your soul,

now we can live for all eternity.

Oh star of David shine this Christmas night.

Illuminate with everlasting light.
