God Listens, For the Writer's Cramp |
| God Bends Down To Listen I am grown, but once was a child. I was my Daddy's favorite, I put a sparkle in his eye That stayed 'til I went away! I remember when I'd whisper, He'd bend down with a smile And put his ear to my lips To hear what I had to say! His eyes still sparkle and shine When I come into the room. He no longer has to bend, But, still listens to me today! God, my Heavenly Father, loves me, Even more than my Daddy does! The sparkle I put in His eye, Will never go away! When I need Him, I can whisper. He bends down with a smile And puts His ear to my lips. He knows what I will say! God knows what I need before I ask And waits for my whispered plea. I am my Heavenly Father's favorite, And He told me so today! |
