about the unraveling of a character
This happens one October morning. Upon waking up, I decide to meditate in bed. However, as soon as I say, Not my will but Thy Will be done O Lord, I begin to sob. I realize, this must be the time for it to surface fully. Time I faced it... And when it is over, I get the whole story. Or so I hope.

I get that he comes from ignorance. Totally clueless as to where he had come from and thus isn't aware of his nature. The story of the Shadow. The Shadow, being of the lower and denser places, can not grasp the Light. That is why he resents and is jealous of the Light. He doesn't know it, but he is obvious to the Light. It is he who cannot see himself and his own moves. He is angry that others do not see him, but the real anger comes from his own inability to see himself. He cannot even admit it to himself.

In the meantime, he does not trust. Why? He had felt cheated when he realized someone else got powers greater than his own. Fumes over the unfairness of the deal. That is why he is so driven to prove himself and to be seen.

What he doesn't know is that all he has to do is accept his very nature. That of being a shadow. At that level. For on another, he is Light after all. Darkness is ignorance. In darkness anyone easily gets violent.

He doesn't even have to believe. All he needs is acceptance, from himself. And then openness, the curiosity, and the Courage to find out for himself. To look at himself, to examine himself. Then he will see the interplay of lights and shadows. Then he begins to understand other shadows as well.

He finds he is not alone. The fears dissolve. The contrast between the shadow and the light dissipates. Evens out. Then rests.

God, how many more characters do I have to unravel within me?!!
