Another Day

Another day     

                             
It’s a beautiful day outside I see
From the seat in which I sit.
For I’m stuck inside only to look at
The weather I miss quite a bit.

To be out in the light is where you must be
To be warmed by the rays of the sun.
In a room with no windows is no place to be
If your trying to have some fun.

I sit and wait for the hours to pass
Till I’m able to walk out the door.
By the time I’m able to enjoy the day
there isn’t anymore.

The sky begins to darken
As the sun falls from the sky.
Another day has ended.
Another day has passed me by.
