What's your resolution?

Resolution

I resolve to stop drinking,
And do more thinking.

I resolve to be more loving,
And not so mind numbing

I resolve to be more tentative,
And a little less sensitive

I resolve to love much deeper,
And become someone who’s a keeper

I resolve to clean the dryer lint,
And have tea with sherry, just a hint.

I resolve to call my mother more,
And answer when she’s at my door

I resolve to stop my mind from revolving
I resolve to dissolve any more resolving.
