Middle of the Night

This was a poem I wrote while i was attempting to obtain the heart of my true love.

You know that feeling you get
When nothing you do is right
I know you know that feeling
Like you’ve just been in a fight
Sometimes I hate that feeling
Sometimes it doesn’t feel right
You know that feeling
Like you just cant see the light
Your sitting in your chair
In the middle of the night
Wondering about your life
Because I know that I just might
Find a way to make this all better
If I could just see my lady’s sight
Because only if she knew
She could make it all right
When I feel down
In the middle of the night
