Just a little something I wrote.....

I know that I can't save you and yet
I never want to let you go.
Everybody tells me
but baby they don't know.
That life is what we make it
and dreams don't always come true.
Lovin' you isn't easy but theres nothing else I wanna do.
All I want for you is happiness and the love you deserve.
Even if it all works what purpose does it serve.
Cut it down and make it right but that doesn't make it real.
Nothing can really honestly tell you how I feel.
So let me let go
of a love I never had.
And give up on forever
even if it makes me sad.
