Things that govern my life and guide it towards a path that I don't want to travel

It’s a life I didn’t choose
It’s a life I didn’t want
Everything is warped
Correct it, I can’t

Problems of someone else
Problems I didn’t create
Face them, I have to
Blessings of a cruel fate

Situations, I’d rather avoid
Situations that seem idiotic
All part of a mad life
I call it wildly poetic

A feeling of being cheated
A feeling of being undone
I want a moment’s peace
Would it kill to give me one?
